Cahoon Museum of American Art’s Fall Open House

Cotuit: Enjoy free admission throughout the day, beginning with a special family program from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM featuring hands-on creative activities inspired by the museum’s exhibitions.
Then, from 1:00–3:00 PM, join us for a special Artist Reception celebrating Julia Cumes and her powerful new exhibition, Invisible Threads: Portraits and Stories of Our Global Neighbors. Meet Julia and Lighting Director and Visual Collaborator Lipe Borges and learn more about the creative collaboration behind this compelling exhibition of portraits and stories from around the world.
The afternoon also celebrates the opening of Ralph Cahoon: Fashioning a Fantasy World, offering a fresh look at the imagination, history, and distinctive characters that shaped Ralph Cahoon’s celebrated work.
Meet the artists, explore the new exhibitions, enjoy light refreshments, and help us welcome an exciting new season at the Cahoon!
