MassDOT Hosting Design Public Hearing for Cape Cod Bridges:

?Sagamore Bridge Replacement on July 23 in Bourne

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is hosting a Design Public Hearing about the proposed replacement of the Sagamore Bridge on July 23, 2026, at Bourne High School, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

MassDOT will present details on the proposed Sagamore Bridge design, expected impacts, right-of-way, construction approaches, detours, traffic management during construction, and next steps.

MassDOT will also provide a brief update on the status of the Bourne Bridge.

MassDOT will review and consider all views and comments submitted in response to the meeting.
