TFed Credit Union celebrates the opening of their Wareham Branch

– TFed Credit Union (TFed) is excited to announce the 
opening of its newest branch, located at 2512 Cranberry Highway in Wareham. On Wednesday, 
February 11th, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the occasion, and was attended 
by Credit Union staff and volunteers, Town & State Officials, Community Partners and Credit 
Union members. 
TFed Credit Union first entered the market through a merger with Commonwealth Utilities 
Federal Credit Union (CUFCU) on March 31, 2023. The opening of the Wareham branch 
reinforces TFed’s commitment to providing the CUFCU membership with a full-service location 
offering a comprehensive range of business and personal banking products and services, along 
with the convenience of a Drive-Up ATM.

Wareham. We had a great opportunity 3 years ago to merge Commonwealth Utilities Federal 
Credit Union into TFed. Their original location was just down the street from this branch, and 
while they had been operating out of Marion for some time, our goal from the very beginning 
was to relocate that office to a full-service branch here in Wareham. Not only are we better 
positioned to serve the former CUFCU membership, but we are also proud to bring our 
extensive offering of products and services to the Wareham area. We are excited to be a part 
of this community and look forward to providing the banking experience that you expect.” said
