Cape Symphony Orchestra to Perform “Perfectly Frank” at Cape Cod Melody Tent Broadway star Sal Viviano joins the Orchestra to celebrate the music of Frank Sinatra

The Cape Symphony Orchestra and special guest Sal Viviano will perform “Perfectly Frank: A Century
of
Sinatra” at the Cape Cod Melody Tent on Sunday, August 10 at 8:00 PM. Francisco Noya will conduct.
The repertoire includes Sinatra’s most iconic, beloved songs, including “New York, New York,” “Luck
Be A Lady,” “My Way,” and “The Best Is Yet To Come.” The Melody Tent’s rotating stage ensures a
great view from every seat.
Now in his eighth season as Music Director of the Boston Civic Symphony Orchestra, Noya has
appeared as guest conductor with Cape Symphony, the Boston Pops, the Baltimore, Nashville, San
Antonio, and Omaha Symphonies, and internationally throughout Europe and the Americas. Looking
forward to this special Melody Tent performance, he says “it is great to have the opportunity to
present this wonderful music. Sinatra worked with so many talented musicians through the ages; the
arrangements are phenomenal.”
Based in New York, Viviano is an award-winning Broadway star, recording artist, and hit concert
headliner acclaimed for his luxuriant vocals and effortless style. He has sung hundreds of concerts
with pops orchestras, and “Perfectly Frank” is among his favorite performances. “Singing this
iconic repertoire with a full orchestra… for a live audience who also loves these songs… is among
the most satisfying and rewarding challenges of my career,” he says. “It’s almost like getting to
take a walk in Frank’s shoes for a few hours.”
Tickets to “Perfectly Frank: A Century of Sinatra” are available only through the Cape Cod Melody
tent at www.melodytent.org or in person at their Box Office window, open daily from 12:00 – 5:00 PM
at the Melody Tent, 41 West Main Street, Hyannis.
