Cape Arts & Entertainment, the nonprofit parent organization of the Cape Symphony Orchestra, Cape Symphony Presents, and Cape Symphony Preschool and Conservatory, has named Jane Carroll Blankenship and David Bryson to its 2025-2026 Board of Trustees.
Chatham resident Jane Carroll Blankenship has over 40 years’ experience in the Professional Services industry. She began her marketing career at The Forum Corporation and later worked for Pearson plc and Oliver Wyman. Named CEO of several businesses, she helped Fortune 1000 companies execute customer centric strategies, increasing revenue and customer loyalty. Ms. Blankenship has corporate and nonprofit Board experience including at Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod. She holds an MBA from The Carroll School of Management at Boston College and an Executive MBA from Stanford University.
David Bryson of West Falmouth was the chief legal officer of Endurance International Group, a publicly traded technology company. He previously spent more than 20 years in banking, as chief regulatory counsel for FleetBoston and Assistant General Counsel at BankBoston. Mr. Bryson is past Board Chair of ArtsBoston, a nonprofit audience development organization supporting the theatre and arts community in Massachusetts, and a class of 2000 graduate of LEADBoston’s year-long civic and community leadership development program. He is a graduate of St. Thomas Seminary, St. Anselm College, and Suffolk University Law School.
At its June 26, 2025 annual meeting, the Board also unanimously elected the following members to leadership positions: Robert A. Sigel of Mashpee will serve as Board Chair, and Chatham resident Amanda Davis will be Vice Chair. Duke Bates of Cotuit will be Treasurer, and Carver resident Maria Campbell will serve as Secretary.
The Cape Arts & Entertainment Board of Trustees contributes to the strength of the organization through policy setting, strategic planning, fundraising, and financial management. Board members are active advocates for the organization, helping to bring awareness to its mission: To inspire, educate and connect our community through exceptional music and inclusive outreach programs.
