Cape Symphony Presents (CSP) has extended its programming with events through Spring and Summer 2025. A concert-promoting arm of Cape Symphony, CSP showcases world-class music of all kinds at intimate venues across the Cape and Islands. The program is a key part of the resurgence of the live music scene on Cape Cod. “Collaboration with local businesses and community partners is central to our mission,” says Richard Chwastiak, who manages the CSP program for Cape Symphony. CSP has worked with Devil’s Purse Brewing Company, MVYRADIO, Pelham House Resort, Wellfleet Preservation Hall, WOMR, and others, connecting artists, audiences, and businesses. Those relationships build community. “Our partnership has not only brought exceptional music and performances to our audiences but has also strengthened the cultural fabric of our community,” said Odessa Bricault, former Program Manager at Wellfleet Preservation Hall. CSP artist Cara Brindisi will play there April 26 at 7:00 PM. With Pelham House Resort and WOMR, CSP has brought music to Dennis Port every weekend this winter. DJs play artfully curated selections from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at Friday’s Listening Lounge sessions. Saturday nights have seen live jazz, world music, Americana, and more. “We believe locals and visitors should be able to enjoy an exquisite Cape Cod experience any time of year, and the Pelham staff deserve to have rewarding year-round careers. Partnering with CSP for the Listening Lounge and Winter Concert Series has helped us achieve those goals,” said Katie Clancy, Marketing Director at Pelham House. Pelham Listening Lounge has been extended through March 28, 2025. CSP joins forces with MVYRADIO to bring unique sounds and rising stars to Cape Symphony’s Falmouth campus. Upcoming shows include: Mexo-Americana and roots rock band David Wax Museum, April 18 at 7:00 PM; singer/songwriter May Erlewine, May 4 at 7:00 PM, and songwriter/activist Kyshona, August 14 at 7:00 PM. “Our combined imprimatur on this series signals to music lovers that they can expect high quality performers and a great night out in Falmouth,” says MVYRADIO Executive Director PJ Finn. Locals and visitors alike love CSP’s Summer Jazz series at Devil’s Purse Brewing Co. in South Dennis, which will happen again this year. “Rich [Chwastiak] has brought top-tier talent to the brewery… Our customers appreciate the diversity of acts that they normally wouldn’t be exposed to on Cape," said Tim Reilly, co-owner of Devil’s Purse. The Rose Clancy Trio will play a St. Patrick’s Party at Devil’s Purse March 14 at 6:00 PM. Music lovers all around the Cape now watch specifically for CSP offerings. “We are so fortunate to have year-round access to inventive performances of this caliber in our own backyard,” says concertgoer and visual artist Karen Ryder of Osterville. “The program of less-traditional work has expanded my appreciation of music and inspired my own creativity."
