bington Bank, a division of North Shore Bank, Donates $5,000 to the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra to Support All-Ages Concert

Abington Bank, a division of North Shore Bank, is pleased to announce its $5,000 donation to the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra in support of their upcoming All-Ages Concert, scheduled for Sunday, March 9, 2025.

The donation underscores Abington Bank’s commitment to enriching the local community through arts and cultural programs. The All-Ages Concert, a family-friendly event, aims to bring the joy of music to people of all generations. The event will feature an engaging repertoire designed to inspire and entertain attendees of all ages, fostering a deeper appreciation for classical music and live performance.

“Supporting the arts is an integral part of our mission to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve,” said Donna Ouellette, AVP and branch officer of Abington Bank, a division of North Shore Bank. “The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra has a long-standing tradition of providing exceptional musical experiences, and we are honored to contribute to their efforts to make music accessible and enjoyable for everyone.”

This annual All-Ages Concert contains musical pieces that are specifically popular with young children and teens. This season’s concert theme is Cartoon Classics; the orchestra will play various pieces that were popularized by or created for cartoons, like the Flintstones theme, The Barber of Seville, and more.

Kim Corben, executive director of the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, expressed her gratitude for the support. “We are thrilled to welcome Abington Bank to the Phil family. Their support means the world to us as we work within the community and bring people together through music."

The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra has been a cultural cornerstone in the region, offering a wide range of performances that celebrate the power of live music. The All-Ages Concert is one of many initiatives aimed at making the arts accessible to diverse audiences.

Tickets for the March 9th concert will be available through the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra’s website at www.plymouthphil.org.
