Season of giving starts early

Turning Point of Wareham, the south coast’s resource for the housing insecure and homeless, recently received a significant donation from D & J Enterprises, whose “Touch a Truck” event raised $7,350.00, with all proceeds given to the nonprofit organization.  At the check presentation by D & J Enterprises CEO Tiffany Sergi to Turning Point Executive Director Shirley Santos and  WACH/Turning Point Board President Chuck McCullough, Santos commented “we are overwhelmed by the generosity of our neighbors, especially D &  J Enterprises, who support us throughout the year in many ways”.  “You could say this is a ‘monster’ contribution”, Santos added with a smile, referring to the Monster Trucks on display at the event.  “We especially appreciate that it is not only an effective fundraiser but also a fun event for the whole family”, Santos added.  “We are thankful for the amount of effort and energy D & J Enterprises puts into this event. “Funds will help this time of year especially, as we head into the cooler months and holidays”, McCullough added.
