Please save the date for Point32Health’s 2nd Annual Economic Inclusion Summit centered on making economic inclusion actionable through our supplier diversity program!
Our first Summit was vital to Point32Health's pledge to boost supplier diversity spending by 50% by 2025 from its 4% level as of December 31, 2022. We are thrilled to announce that we have surpassed our goal ahead of schedule! By the end of 2023, 11% of our spending was allocated to diverse suppliers.
Our next target is to sustain this momentum and further increase supplier diversity spending by 6% each year going forward – an ambitious goal we can only reach with your support! The committed task force of Point32Health colleagues behind this year’s Summit gathering firmly believes that together we can surpass this goal. In doing so, we will not only catch up to our competitors but will have an enormous positive economic impact on our communities.
The 2024 Summit will:
• Help prospective and current suppliers to learn how to do business, or generate more business, with Point32Health. Suppliers will gain insight into the salient opportunities to become a vendor, speak with community partners about their companies, and share the solutions they offer to bring Point32Health forward.
• Convene Point32Health colleagues and focus on enhancing supplier diversity capabilities at all levels of the organization. We will explore opportunities to strengthen our supplier diversity efforts, including relationships with diverse business enterprises.
• Welcome and connect community partners, government officials and suppliers with Point32Health colleagues to discuss strategies to advance health equity and address social determinants of health—particularly jobs and income, which supplier diversity underpins—through business ecosystems inclusive of diverse business enterprises.
