A New Tool for Your Marketing Strategy – EV Charging Stations

Generally, businesses nationwide spend about seven to eight percent of their gross revenue on marketing and advertising, but is that investment driving customers to your business? To date, Eversource has installed 194 ports from Boston to Springfield, and even as far east as Wellfleet.
Participating businesses are responsible for purchasing and installing the charging equipment. However, even that can be minimal or no-cost with assistance from companies like Greenspot or incentives offered through MassEVIP.
So how can this help with your marketing?
In Massachusetts, there are approximately 18,000 EV drivers on the road, a figure that is expected to keep growing over the next few years. There are not nearly enough charging stations to accommodate current demand, meaning that EV charging can be a big draw for your business. Plus, by installing charging stations, you will receive free marketing through apps and websites that list area EV stations, and on-site advertising that will attract eco-conscious, loyal customers.
