Cape Cod Academy Announces Special Financial Assistant Programs

March 27, 2019…Cape Cod Academy (CCA), the only independent, co-educational, college preparatory school serving students from kindergarten to grade 12 on Cape Cod, is pleased to announce new tuition assistance programs specifically dedicated to first responders, military personnel, and educators. As a school whose mission is to foster a life-long drive to learn and grow and make a difference in the world, CCA is proud to support those who are inspired to serve and make a difference in the world as law enforcement, first responders, members of our military, and educators.

This program is for new applicants to CCA only and whose parent/guardian is an educator, member of the military (Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marine, Navy), law enforcement, or a first responder, which includes firefighters, police officers, and EMTs who frequently risk their own lives for our benefit. Awards will range from $5,000 to $28,000.

Founded in 1976, CCA is located on a rural 46-acre campus that features outdoor classrooms, multiple athletic fields, two gymnasiums, tennis courts, state-of-the art science labs, music pavilions, multiple art studios, photo labs, and a black box theatre. Our challenging and dynamic college preparatory program is enriched by opportunities in the arts, athletics, and community service. CCA has a vibrant population of international students who bring a cross-cultural perspective and added engagement to our domestic students, widening their awareness of different values and beliefs and improving social skills.

Eligibility requirements for this program include:
• The student must complete and submit an application and all supporting materials, including recommendations, school records, and testing.
• One or both parents/legal guardians must be employed as law enforcement, EMT, EMS, firefighter, member of the military, or an educator.
• The Parent Financial Statement (PFS) through School and Student Services (SSS) must be completed and submitted.
