Highfield Hall & Gardens presents Qi Gong in the Gardens Tuesdays, May 30-August 8th, 9:15-10:15 am

Highfield Hall & Gardens is pleased to announce weekly Qi Gong in the beautiful Highfield Gardens with Margie Mitchell this summer.

Enjoy a complimentary thirty-minute session on Tuesday, May 30, to experience this relaxing centering practice. Then sign up for the series of hour-long sessions in subsequent weeks.  We will offer two 4-week sessions on Tuesdays from June 6 -  June 27 and July 11 - August 8 (no class July 25).

Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese movement practice from over 3,000 years ago with numerous styles.  The motions mirror the movements of nature, and the practice helps develop a body-mind-spiritual awareness for better calmness, clarity, and joy. Through breath work, gentle stretching, warm-ups, “flows”, and meditation Qi Gong promotes wellness, increased vitality, and an overall sense of wellbeing.

Margie Mitchell is a certified Lee Holden Qigong Teacher, Satin Wellness Specialist, Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education, Master’s Degree in nutrition, and American Red Cross Swimming Instructor

She finds sharing her knowledge and experience with others fulfilling and rewarding.
