AGENDA

 

Meeting Goal: To involve partners in communication with the potential to positively affect group travel to Plymouth County leading to continually improved visitor services, increased visitor numbers and multiplied revenue for all.

  • Springfield Republican Dream Destinations Consumer Travel Show, Sunday, April 30. $50 to send 100-200 of your material. Giveaways welcome.

  • See Plymouth Membership Report
    • Monica would appreciate being contacted with new member ideas.
  • The Waterfront Visitor Information Center will reopen Sat. April 1, 2023
  • Next See Plymouth Member Zoom Networking, Tuesday March 28 9:30am
  • See Plymouth and Plimoth Patuxet Museums are cosponsoring a luncheon at the Going on Faith Conference in Green Bay. WI in August
  • Contracts for participation in co-op advertising are mailed as opportunities arise. If you are not receiving these, let Paula know.
  • Location for the Tuesday, June 1, Plymouth County Group meeting

 

Old Business:

  • Great Group Tour Resource – go to https://sallydavisberry.com/ and sign up for her newsletter and/or courses
  • See Plymouth in conjunction with Bristol County, received a one-million-dollar federal grant to promote our Extended Seasons
  • Poster space is available at both See Plymouth Visitor Information Centers
  • See Plymouth Guides and map pads can be picked up at the Route 3, exit 13 MA Visitor Information Center, Wednesday – Sunday, 10am – 2pm. See Plymouth can also deliver them in person or by mail!
  • Member nonprofit organizations located in Plymouth County are eligible for the Plymouth County Commissioners Grant, which helps defray the cost of marketing initiatives. An application is available by contacting Paula Fisher paula.fisher@SeePlymouth.com
