Cape Cod Museum Trail (CCMT) is excited to announce we are a recipient of a Massachusetts Travel & Tourism Recovery Grant.

The Cape Cod Museum Trail (CCMT) is excited to announce we are a recipient of a Massachusetts Travel & Tourism Recovery Grant. CCMT has been awarded $24,950 for the proposal “There’s So Much to Explore on the Trail”. We will be promoting visitation to Cape Cod museums, historical societies, and cultural centers in a day trip or staycation through advertising, digital/social media promotion, with our organization’s website featuring over 70 Cape Cod museums.
We are excited to support the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism’s campaign My Local MA. The campaign asks Who is Local? The Travel and Tourism Recovery Grant Program aims to strengthen the economy of Massachusetts through the development and enhancement of the state’s tourism industry.
Museums illustrate the local community through their exhibits, events, historical context and classes. Museums provide jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities for community residents. With supporting local museums, the community stays strong in supporting the employees but also the artists that exhibit, perform and teach there.
As a supporter of the arts, culture, historical significance of Cape Cod museums, CCMT is excited to bring even more awareness to the over 70 Cape Cod museums, historical societies and cultural centers. There is much to do at the museums including exhibits, classes, lectures, family events, music and more. Cape Cod museums support local artists as well as bring in nationally known artists. Their support of the culture and history of Cape Cod is amazing.
We want to thank the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism for this opportunity to partner with them in promoting the Cape Cod Museum Trail’s initiative “There’s So Much to Explore on the Trail” and their My Local MA campaign.
