Cahoon Museum of American Art Hosts Free Open House

The Cahoon Museum of American Art is hosting a free Open House on Sunday, December 6 from 10am – 4pm. Visitors are invited to see the exhibitions, explore the Museum with fun family-friendly activities, and take home a special prize. The Museum Shop is open with a wide variety of local artisan crafts, art books, jewelry, special holiday items, note cards, games and wearables for sale.

Three exhibitions are on view in the Museum: Salley Mavor: Bedtime Stitches, Edward Curtis: Shadow Catcher, and Adria Arch: Interference. Alfred Glover: Garden Grove and Konstantin Dimopoulos: The Blue Trees are on view on the Museum grounds. All the exhibitions remain on view through December 19. General Museum hours are Thursday through Saturday, 10am-4pm. Registration to visit the Museum is requested and drop-bys are welcome as gallery space allows. The Museum follows all state mandated Covid-19 protocols, masks and social distancing are required.
