Beth Israel Deaconess Cranberry Hospice and Palliative Care Seeks Volunteers |

PLYMOUTH, MA – Cranberry Hospice, a non-profit organization, has been providing support for people with a life-limiting illness for over 35 years. Cranberry Hospice will begin a seven session volunteer training in March. Hospice volunteers help by providing companionship and support to patients and their families, providing vigil visits at the time of death, as well as helping with day-to-day activities like running errands. Some volunteers help with clerical tasks or fundraising activities in the Hospice office.
In addition, Cranberry Hospice is also seeking:
? Veteran volunteers to support our Veteran’s Program
The program places a veteran volunteer with our veteran patients
? Pediatric Palliative Care Program, “Fragile Footprints”
In need of volunteers for this special calling
Our team and families rely on the dedication and commitment of our volunteers to provide the extra care and open hearts that they bring with them on each visit and every phone call
Cranberry Hospice provides training to all volunteers. The next training session begins:
START DATE: March 23, 2020 (runs for seven Mondays)
TIME: 6:00 – 8:00 pm
