Cape Cod furniture store has been recognized as the best outdoor and casual furniture store in the country.

Paine’s Patio Fine Casual & Outdoor Furnishings of Cape Cod was recently nominated in the single store category for the Apollo Award. Starting with over 3,000 outdoor specialty stores across the United States; those are narrowed to 5 that become nominated by The International Casual Furnishings Association. Paine’s Patio was nominated as a finalists back in August of this year and was announced the winner of the nationally recognized award during the annual Chicago Casual Furniture Show in September. The staff at Paine’s Patio and Nautical & Nice was recognized for demonstrating outstanding accomplishments and their commitment to customer service. This was Paine’s fourth Apollo Nomination and second Win of the award.

Owners Doug and Kristin Shearer operate the store, which is enjoying its 17th season on Cape Cod and is located at 674 MacArthur Blvd./Route 28 in Bourne. The Shearers have taken their family’s 184 years and six generations of New England furniture experience and adapted it to Paine’s Patio. They offer the largest collection of outdoor casual furniture on Cape Cod and also have an award winning gift shop, Nautical & Nice.
