What better way to spend a summer night on Cape Cod than with live music in an idyllic setting with the company of good friends? Join the Cape Symphony at Cape Cod National Seashore’s outdoor amphitheater for the fourth annual Symphony at the Seashore concert on Friday, August 23 at 7:00 PM. New in 2019: Pre-concert activities for kids, 6:00 to 6:45 PM. This free, family-friendly performance, presented by the National Park Service and Cape Symphony, has become a tradition for visitors and locals alike. This year’s Symphony at the Seashore performance features a lively pops program with delightful music from movies and Broadway, plus a bit of Disney magic. The big finale? Heart-stirring patriotic tunes, including the “Armed Services Salute” and Stars and Stripes Forever,” accompanied by digital fireworks!
“This has become one of my favorite nights of the season,” said Cape Symphony Artistic Director & Conductor Jung-Ho Pak. “The intimate setting and gorgeous backdrop paired with the fun, uplifting music brings joy not only to me and our amazing musicians, but the greater community as a whole. For me, that’s what music is all about…inspiring joy.”
