CAPE COD ACADEMY ANNOUNCES NEW MEMBERS TO ITS BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Cape Cod Academy (CCA), an independent, co-educational, college preparatory school serving students from kindergarten to grade 12 on Cape Cod, announces that two new board members have been appointed to the school’s Board of Trustees. They are Timothy Calise of Osterville and Jitka Borowick of Barnstable.

Timothy Calise is the Co-Founder and CEO of Koko FitClub Cape Cod, a health and wellness concept combining the most up-to-date medical research with patented, proprietary technology designed to positively impact the lives of Cape Codders. In addition to bringing Koko to the Cape, Timothy was the Director of Business and Financial Strategy for Koko FitClub during its expansion nationally. Timothy began his career in finance with Citigroup before holding executive-level positions with multiple alternative investment management companies. Timothy and his wife, Ashley, currently reside in Osterville and have three children currently attending CCA in the lower school.
Jitka Borowick came to the U.S. in 2003 from the Czech Republic, with the goal of becoming fluent in English. She graduated from Cape Cod Community College in 2008 and continued her studies at Suffolk University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2011. While in college, Jitka combined her dream of starting her own business and doing something positive for the environment by launching Cleangreen, a natural cleaning company that provides safe, effective, and affordable cleaning options. As Cleangreen’s founder, President and CEO, Jitka has been recognized for her leadership and involvement in the community. She has served as a board member of the Barnstable Village Business Association and the Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation. She is Past President of the Business Network International (BNI) Convergence Team. She is currently Chair of the Board of Directors for Flower Angels, USA and President of the Rotary Club of Hyannis. When she is not working or volunteering, Jitka enjoys biking, running, doing yoga, or spending time with her daughter, Mischa, a student at CCA.
