The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum has announced the return of its  winter speaker series beginning Thursday, February 9 at 11 am in the Scudder Family Center for Civic Engagement at the Main Street Hyannis museum.

The “Coffee @ The Kennedy Museum” event, featuring speakers on art, history, politics, culture and more is sponsored by Chez Antoine Cafe in Hyannis, which is providing freshly brewed coffee and tea.

“The theme ‘Coffee @ The Kennedy Museum’ comes from JFK’s 1952 campaign for the U.S. Senate ” said the executive director, Wendy Northcross. “During that time, the women of the Kennedy family hosted ‘Coffee with the Kennedys’ events in homes across the Commonwealth, and later his opponent credited this tactic as the key to JFK’s success at the polls,'' she said.

Coffee events are in-person and some have a Zoom meeting option. For the full list of speakers and events, visit www.jfkhyannismuseum.org.

The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum Foundation preserves and promotes the legacy of President Kennedy, his family, and their deep connection to Cape Cod. The museum is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday  from 10 am to 1 PM until mid-April when it opens extended hours.
