We wanted to take the time to explain the meaning behind our name, and more specifically, why the numbers 721?
Owner and Instructor Julia Sykes’ mother, Lisa Forlivesi Amaral, originally opened the doors of her studio, Forlivesi Photography, in 1994. For years, she took hundreds of photos of local families, products for advertisements, and everything in between. After losing a courageous battle to ovarian cancer, Lisa passed in 2019, leaving the studio vacant.
Her birthday was July 21, 1959 - 7/21.
The name serves as a way to honor her memory, preserve her legacy, and pay tribute to a space that has always been used for creative expression
